Teaming up with BarCampAustin at SXSWi

Intro to BarCampAustin

Imagine a full day of SXSWi devoted to hanging out with like-minded people at a bar. That's BarCamp, and the organizer, Whurley, wants Drupal to make a splash. According to Whurley, BarCampAustin will be "more ad hoc than we can possibly stand" and "100% nuts." (Oh, and there will be fully customizable T-shirts screen-printed on demand.) EXCELLENT!

Presentations to the entire BarCampAustin crowd

ANY of us can make a presentation to the entire assembly of BarCampers. Presentations will be organized using a system of pens+post-its on a first-come-first serve basis beginning in the early morn'.

THE URGENT PART: Drupal-only meeting

If we want, we can devote an hour or so of BarCampAustin (between 8am and 8pm) to nothing but Drupal. This is entirely separate from the presentation schedule mentioned above. Instead of presenting, we would have an entire hour devoted to Drupal-related discussions, meetups, and whatever else happens.

Two areas are available to meet -- inside and outside -- so it's possible to run things concurrently. (Note that WordPress will probably meet at 6pm.) I need to get back to Whurley ASAP to ensure we have a spot.
