Read moreRecurring Events (conferences) with Organic Groups
I have a site where someone hosts yearly workshops / events. They would like to add new events while also seeing past events.
I am going to use Organic groups for the events so that there is a social aspect.
How would you suggest breaking down the groups by year of the event? I was thinking sub groups ?

Hi all, I'm happy to announce that VozMob Drupal Distro (VozMobDD) version 0.5.1 has been released. VozMobDD is Drupal customized as a widely accessible mobile blogging platform. VozMobDD has been designed to make it easy to post content to Drupal from regular mobile phones via voice calls, SMS, or MMS.

I have an established community based on the latest 6.x. A while ago we added OG and have a handful of groups that share the same content types with the rest of the site. The groups are not in a subdomain like groups.drupal. I'd like to distinguish the groups using pathauto and the ogname token. The only problem is that an empty ogname token will give me two // for the rest of my site's content types that aren't in OG. Any thoughts on how to best deal with this?
Thanks in advance.

Would like to display the join groups as select list (single select fine) rather than checkboxes. Ideas?
Google produced one other post requesting same (in OG issues), but no replies.

Just as the title says... I'm trying to figure out how a group admin (group creator) can adjust the membership settings (open/admin-approval/invite-only/closed) of his/her group. I also want to know if this setting can be changed at any time after the initial creation. I'm working in Drupal 7 by the way...
Read moreDynamic Menu for each group?
Hi!
So I'm currently working on a fairly complex Drupal site, and need advice on the best way to approach a situation.
Is there any way to give each group it's own menu, that dynamically links to content related to that group? For instance, if a menu of a group has an "Events" link, clicking on it would take you to a list of Events specifically for that group?

Jag har skapat en innehållstyp "Group content" används för att göra inlägg i en grupp.

När användaren klickar på en "Group" ska denne få se beskrivningen (informationen i body) och sedan under denna post ska alla "Group content" listas.
Creating Groups with Drupal
I am trying to create a group which has similar features to http://www.amazee.com/node/6730/wall. I am doing it with organic groups and 80% of the functionality can be done out of the box this this module. My questions to advanced devs would be:
- Do you recommend using any other module besides organic groups?
- In organic groups if you view the discussions page of a certain group, it shows threads the amount of comments in (). How would you do the feature like in the link above to allow multiple comments showing up on the "wall"?
Replacements for OG Forum?
I posted the following in the main Drupal.org forums, and someone suggested it might be better placed in this group:
