organic groups

Hi Everyone:

So I know of some well-known organizations and companies who are using Drupal for their community child sites and/or primary sites. However, I am just curious to know of some particular enterprise sites that are 1) using Drupal and 2) may have a user population anywhere from 500 - 10,000+. I'm trying to compile a list to show that Drupal can be used to archive information secure for a large online and active audience.

I'm an old-school web designer, turned Wordpress tragic, that now finds herself wrangling a team of volunteers on a Drupal project. Woohoo! We've made great progress on the project so far, but are now looking for a bit of extra help, so I thought I'd put the word out here (hope that's ok).

Functionality is pretty well specified and documented.
We've got Drupal up and running. Sign up, and ideas submission are pretty much done.
Modules in use so far include stuff like Organic groups, Panels, Location, Google Maps.

Hey everyone,

I am "burning" my OG feeds with the Feedburner module. I'm hoping there is a way to get the burned feed to show automatically on the associated OG pages. Here are the issues I'm running into:

-The Feedburner block will list every Feedburner feed, but I'd like it to only show one feed per group.

-The Group Notifications block shows only one group feed per page, but it is the original RSS feed. In other words, it isn't showing the "burned" feed for that group.

I'm still having massively annoying permissions issues here in Boston. Conflicts between OG's "Organic Groups Access Control", CCK's "Content Permissions", and Workflow's "Workflow Access" permissions are rampant. (Posting to Boston too for compassion and insight.)

A documentação é fundamental, mas em casos como o Drupal, a grande sacada é o "mão na massa", porque os módulos estão ai, todos prontos, uma enorme caixa de Lego, aonde o que vai fazer a diferença é justamente sabermos como encaixar cada peça, aonde mexer, como ajustar, etc. Com isso, nada melhor do que um estudo de caso, aonde vemos a situação a ser resolvida, botamos a faca nos dentes e partimos para cima!

Hi all, I'm having a bit of a quandry because I think I'm trying to do something that might not possible using the Views module: I'm trying to display recent posts from all the Organic Groups that a user belongs to. For example, say I have a user whose has a drupal username of "ben" and belongs to three groups. There is a page for each user on the site, in the format "users/[username]", so in this case we have the page "users/ben". On this page I'd like to list recent posts made in all three groups that ben belongs to.

This is the official first step to a future get together where we'll discuss how to more effectively use Organic Groups for interactive ministry groups on a church website.

I guess this is as good of a place to ask a question (maybe this could be discussed in one of our meetings).

I'm starting on a project (say site A) in which I will be setting up organic groups that would act as a stand-alone "sites" with their own users and nodes ( calendar and news,...) However, at some time in the future each one of these groups "could" branch out to be a full site (say site B, C)...
(The model is to offer possible FREE starting solution, to grow into a full PAID site)

Site A:
- Group 1
- Group 2
- Group 3
- Group 4

Group 2 ==>> Site B

I would like to see exposed filter block in panels pages using Views2 get fixed for Drupal 6.

I am willing to chip in to make it happen. ($75). If there is a developer who could do this and possibly use chipin to gather more support.

Currently exposed filter block works if
1. no panels
2. no views as tabs in organic group

but I would like to have it work in those two areas

1. as tabs in an organic group
2. with panels

So in essence, they should redirect to the correct page.

1. exposed filter block in a view with path url node/%/foo and it is a tab

Jag skulle behöva nån strategi/modul för att få till ett gemensamt privat forum för en webplats där modulen Organic Groups är installerad? Tanken är att man inte ska komma åt forumet alls om man inte är inloggad, och att alla användare som tillhör vissa användargrupper skall ha tillgång till att läsa och posta i forumet.
