Buen dia comunidad, tengo ya casi 1 años dedicado a Drupal, y anteriormente habia leido la documentación en el sitio oficial, pero no la comprendía muy bien, ahora despues de tener un poco mas de experiencia en el tema la encuentro fantástica.

I've had some feedback from MediaWiki fans extolling the virtues of Wiki Templates (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Template) which in my mind are kind of analogous CCK content types (ie content types defined by a user). One neat feature you get with templates is the ability to discuss their development using the mediawiki Talk page, and I was wondering if somebody has thought about doing this for CCK. Hey maybe it's possible to define a CCK type through a node? Maybe I'm just rambling, but I just thought I'd throw it out there.

Outcome:

I'd like to plan a workshop / code sprint within the next month in Los Angeles. I have a couple ideas on what we could tackle as a group, but am open to suggestions.

I'd like to accomplish two things in this session

1.    Help mentor new developers teaching Drupal best practices and guidance in establishing/enhancing a good Drupal / LAMP development environments.
2.    Create a new module from scratch - OR - fix a contrib module. 

As this is the early stage of the E-Commerce development for 4.8, a lot of modules can be still run on 4.7 without any problems. This is a guide to help people who need to use a 4.8(CVS) E-Commerce modules on 4.7

I'm really getting excited with all the participation! Let me take a moment to start a new thread regarding the "meta-process" I'm engaging in and what my goals and objectives are:

• Get out a new version of Events - soon!
• Work in a community context
• model good software development behavior
• document the hell out of Events for future generations...

We all agree on the basics - but I think that some of the comments are out of scope for what I'm interested in. Here's what I'm interested in - I want to get functionality out that can be used for grassroots, community based organizing - in this case Houseparties. I would also like to see the system usable by political and other campaigns to do less-formal campaign based events. In my view (which is subject to change) this does not include "volunteering", "choosing a date for a meeting", "pre-event organizing" - you get the idea.

That being said I would be happy to help document all these other issues/scopes - but I would probably need to see a clearly defined statement of functionality/description.

So if you would like to see a broader scope - this is the place to have that discussion.
