Seattle DUG Meeting (September 6)

Start:
2006-09-06 17:00 - 20:00 US/Pacific

Come meet other Drupal programers and users at the 2nd official seattle DUG meeting.
Please post topics you would like to discuss, or specific things you might like to work on.

At the end of the last DUG meeting we talked about possibly breaking off into groups and working on some specific issues problems, maybe even some co coding, or site disection.

DUG meetings are what you make of them, lets dig in and get our hands dirty next month!

I would propose that we do intros and news from 5 to 5:30 and then perhaps split off into smaller groups after that for about 90 minutes, then come back together to close up for about 30 minutes.

Seattle DUG a success

We had a good DUG meetup yesterday in seattle, i think about a dozen folks showed up, beer was drunk, pizza eaten, and drupal questions answered.

Some of the questions that came up that we discussed were
1) when is it time to use the new version of Drupal?
2) when to use contrib modules, vs build your own
3) what goes where? modules, themes (tpl or css), database

We'll be meeting again next month, 1st wednesday of the month, same time, same place.
