First Phoenix Drupal Users' Group meeting
Phoenix-area Drupalers,
We've setup a time and place for the first Phoenix Drupal User Group meeting! It will be Wednesday, October 24 at 6:00pm at Gold Bar Espresso in Tempe (http://tinyurl.com/24h5u7). We'd like to make this an introductory meeting to decide in what direction we'll be taking the group. Anyone, of any Drupal skill level, is welcome!

De eerste Nederlandse DrupalJam

Op vrijdag 16 November 2007 vindt de eerste Nederlandse DrupalJam plaats op het MediaPark in Hilversum. Drupal is het beste Content Management Framework ter wereld en iedereen die daar meer over wil weten is welkom!
Drupal is open source, volledig web2.0 buzzword-compliant, en blinkt uit in community en workflow features, SEO, meertalige publishing en algehele briljantheid ;-)
Toronto October Meetup: Come meet the Lullabots!
Team Lullabot is coming to Toronto so for this month's meeting, I thought we'd do something a little different...
Join us Thursday, October 11th at the Center for Social Innovation (4th floor) to meet some of Drupal's biggest rockstars:
- Matt Westgate: co-author of Pro Drupal Development (bring your copy and get it signed!) and original author of the e-commerce package, tinymce, and img_assist.
- Jeff Robbins: the voice of drupal, author of the drupal song, and an actual rock star.
- Angie "webchick" Byron: Summer of code co-ordinator, Drupal Association secretary, and everyone's favourite community member.
- Addison Berry: Drupal Dojo star and Lullabot workshop alumn turned Lullabot.
- Jeff Eaton: the FormAPI guy, the VotingAPI guy, and the man with the best presentations.
We'll have food and drinks and plenty Drupal talk. Note the change of date and location and we'll see you there!

Berkeley Drupal Group - THURSDAY September 27th Meeting
Greetings Bay Area Druplers,
Our next meeting will be THURSDAY, September 27th, Noon-1:30 at 290 HMMB, UC Berkeley (note the change of day from our usual Wednesday time slot)
This month - Developing Drupal Sites at UC Berkeley.
Rob and Tracy, from Quiddities are going to talk about the sites they have developed at UCB (including the College of Arts and Science) and the trials and tribulations of Drupal and the campus bureaucracy.

Bay Area Drupal Camp: November 3rd and 4th 2007
Bay Area Drupalers unite! BADCamp is taking place on November 3 and 4th, 2007 at the UC Berkley campus. Following in the tradition of DrupalCampNY, DrupalCampLA and the original BarCamps this is a fun, free, open event where everyone is encouraged to participate, share and learn together.
There are currently 200 registered attendees and 36 proposed sessions (Note: the session proposal period ends Sunday the 21st). There will be presentations, open table discussions, lightning talks and more ranging from Getting started - planning and maintence overview by Steven Peck, Discussion about Usability by Neil Drum, to Performance and Caching with Drupal by Steve Rude and much more!
Update: Six weeks after we opened registration, and after two capacity increases, we are maxed out with 200 attendees. Promises to be a grand time.

Drupal 6 installs will be demonstrated. Interested in trying similar CMS? Want to install a version you have never used? During this meet up I encourage members of all skill levels to come install Drupal. If you are an advanced user, please come to help new users. Hopefully we can set up some sites and give them a great start. We dubbed this experience the "Drupal Test Drive".
