Sessions for anonymous users
Hi all
I am having some difficulty with the site at http://iwda.asia. It seems sessions aren't being initialised/started/created for anonymous users, which means when someone registers on the site the message they should see, such as "You have been sent an email", etc., doesn't appear, because those messages are stored in the session.

Hello everyone,
Montreal's 4th annual DrupalCamp is open for registration at http://www.drupalcampmontreal.com. We are once again running and education track and are looking for session proposals.
This year's camp takes place between the 16th and 18th of September at the McIntyre Medical Building on the McGill University campus here in Montreal. Our Keynote speakers this year are Drupal 7 co-maintainer Angie 'webchick' Byron and HTML5 evangelist Jen Simmons. Gábor Hojtsy, the co-maintainer of Drupal 6 will also be leading a related internationalization code sprint running from the 14th through to the end of the camp. We expect to have more than 30 sessions running in simultaneous tracks as well as both free and paid training occurring on the Friday afternoon.
We're open any session topics that relate to education including Drupal as a CMS for higher-ed, Drupal as an LMS, strategies for deployment, scalability and support, etc.
If you have any questions whatsoever, please do not hesitate to ask.
Many thanks,
Andrew Lindsay

Hello Drupalchix,
I'm part of the core organization team for Drupal Camp Germany 2011. We would be very happy if we could have some more Drupalchix presenting and attending our DrupalCamp, so here is the "official" invitation:

Now I'm looking at the documentation where it says "Create an event for people to attend." The tool tip for "Sessions" says a session happens during an event. So I assume the "event" is the conference. Could it also be a subset of the conference, like "Friday Afternoon Workshops?" When creating a session I do not see a slot for specifying which event the session is associated with. Is it that a session is configured for a certain time slot and if it falls within the duration of an event it automatically is associated with that event?

Lazy sessions with PF5 and Varnish problem
I'm having trouble with a Pressflow install and its lazy session handling.
The issue
Anonymous page views are still getting a session cookie and thus the Cache-Control:max-age header is being set to 0, making it difficult to have Varnish cache pages.
Need Help with additional sessions
Hi!
I've made myself a little program which I run trough drupal with an internal login.
The problem is that the session isn't kept. I'm able to log in but as soon as I navigate to another page I get logged out!
My thoughts is that drupals sessions interfere with my sessions...?
Anyone had any similar problems?
Really need help with this!
Thanks!
//Alexander

This is easy and quick, nothing fancy, no voting - just post your session idea (title) and your name/contact info and show up to present that day! We have sessions open from 10am-2pm each day (Saturday and Sunday) and each session should plan for 45 minutes each.
