Hello everyone,

This is for the ones that came to the meetup on Thrusday and could not write the details and for the ones that were not there too.

The Social Innovation Camp is on the weekend of March 5-7. You can read all the information in the page for the event or you can directly sign up directly. It is like a StartUp camp for projects that do social good.

We have our Winter-Spring Schedule posted for the Chicago West Fox Valley Drupal Users Group!

Our large group meets on the 4th Thursday Night of the month at McNally's. We also have regular afternoon hangout on Wednesday afternoons for those of us flexible with our schedules.

We have a great time and everyone always learns a lot. If any of you are interested in participating or presenting let me know.

Best part is it's Ladies night, there is live music, boxty's are half price (see the menu on their site)

Firstly a very Happy New Year to you all!

I'd like to get the Drupal Brighton meetings up and running again and I need your feedback.

I've been reading about how Drupal Atlanta are organising their 2010 meetings (http://www.mediacurrent.com/blogs/best-practices-planning-your-2010-drup...) and would like to follow what they're doing.

Atlanta meet every third Tuesday which we might as well do as Tuesdays at http://theskiff.org are the 'BrightArray' software meetups, so the format would be something along the lines of this:

7-8pm general networking

Tudo indica que a reunião do próximo Sábado dia 9 de Janeiro no espaço
Liberdade 229, cortesia da Quodis, será a mais participada de todas as que ocorreram desde o dia 23 de Outubro.

Os pontos em discussão:

Estiveram mais pessoas nesta reunião que na anterior, ainda que o João
Melo não tenha podido deslocar-se de Coimbra para estar presente, mas
que ligou para manifestar o seu interesse na iniciativa e vontade de
fazer mais.

Para além de mim estiveram presentes (pela ordem de chegada):

Tentou-se mas não foi bem sucedida a tentativa de efectuar uma reunião
durante um fim de semana prolongado. Desencontros à parte a afluência
foi inferior à reunião do dia 23 de Outubro.

Por isso vale a pena voltar à carga, obviando a questão dos feriados e
afins. Este Sábado próximo.

Coisas a debater:

A few of the larks from Exaltation of Larks will be in DC through December 1, 2009. We'll be visiting family for the holidays and our friends at the USPTO. Is there anyone in the area that would like to get together for an informal meetup?

I"m really excited about the Drupal Camp coming up in February but unfortunately won't be able attend as some other events are already scheduled for that weekend. I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in a Drupal users meetup in Jacksonville at some point? I can take care of arranging but just want to gauge interest to see talk and meet the Drupal community in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas.
