Installation Profiles

An installation profile would very much help new users to set up PM.

It can provide an out of the box experience, which would greatly enhance user experience.

But a poorly planned installation profile which has nothing but the main modules and its dependency is not enough.

So i'd like to start a discussion on features that you had added to storm after you enabled the main module. We can cherry pick from these features and try to include them with the installation profile.

I updated the codebase of a platform to enable an alternative language (drush @platform_xxx dl nl)
But the language does not appear in the aegir (admin) user interface at "add a site".

I tried to run provision-verify, but that did not solve the problem.
How can I make it recognize the new installation profile?

I don't know how many of you guys will read this and find it interesting, but I think this is a pretty good question on usability. Steve Jobs labelled here the Open Source solutions as "Fragmented" (which is fairly true), and claims it will clearly lose battle against "Integrated" solutions (which is an argument I hear quite frequently lately in many different forms).

Tengo una duda a la hora de estar realizando un perfil de instalación de Drupal (installation profile). Logro que active los modules, themes, y cree content type, de forma correcta un poco lo básico. Estoy intentando entrar un poco mas a profundidad con los content type, quiero agregarle desde el perfil de instalación campos de CCK, como texto o file, pero no encuentro una vía o forma adecuada para hacerlo mediante el perfil de instalación.
