I removed (unpublished) all the company events from the groups' events. I contacted the author but didnt get a repsonse.
In particular these were trainings organised by one specific company.
Although there are no real rules for it, I think it goes against the spirit of a community website to promote commercial activities.
I remember we did something similar on drupal.be back in the days.
We should add a little note to the group description about this.

Openlayers and Leaflet update
Hi all,
Since the month of September of 2014, I started working on a new version of Openlayers, find the roadmap here and feel free to participate.
Last week, after 10 months of development, I made a summer cleanup of the code again, added the missing bits and finalized the API.
I feel that the module has never been so stable since.
Add group owners to "Belgium" group
This group does not match the new(?) rules for groups on groups.drupal.org: it only has 1 organizer and has more than 20 members.

Also this group does not seem to be managed very actively. For example there is a company posting a lot of commercial events here. See Discover Drupal 8 training

Drupal Code Sprint - Zaterdag 27 juni - Wunderkraut Antwerpen
Op zaterdag organiseert de Drupal User Group Belgium in samenwerking met Wunderkraut een Drupal Code Sprint. Tijdens een Drupal Code Sprint wordt samen gewerkt aan allerlei issues in Drupal Core en/of Contrib.

Op een Drupal Code Sprint ontmoet je alle mogelijke profielen, van beginner tot expert. Iedereen met een beetje basiskennis PHP en interesse in Drupal is welkom, wij zorgen voor een aantal mentors om je te helpen bij de eerste stappen. Mentoring workshops & sprints at Drupal Dev Days Montpellier 2015
During the first few days of Drupal Dev Days Montpellier 2015 workshops will be offered to introduce Drupalistas to Drupal core contribution. In three workshops, repeated on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, experienced contributors will help with setting up development tools, such as Git, web stacks, IRC clients and Dreditor, and with finding and working on issues on drupal.org.
These workshops can be attended free of charge, without reservation.

On the 15th of November we welcome our invited speakers Jeffrey A. "jam" McGuire and Kristof de Jaeger to "the capital of the west coast" in Sweden, for this year's edition of DrupalCamp Gothenburg.
This year, we have a new, bigger and better, venue. We also offer a goodie bag, organised pub crawl on the night before and hopefully a code sprint on Sunday. We have just opened session submissions and will present the submitted sessions beginning next week.
