Are you interested in learning more about maps open source style, map making, and new community mapping trends? If so, this group is for you! The goal of the OpenStreetMap Los Angeles Group is to bring new and experienced mappers together to discuss the OpenStreetMap project, as well as get out and map.

Our meetups are open to everyone, from Open Source enthusiasts, Cyclists, GIS Professionals, Geocachers, Hikers and beyond. Feel free to spread the word, invite new members, and propose events ideas as well as locations.

12pm Introduction to mapping and send experienced mappers out on their way!

12pm loan out GPS and a short intro on how to use them

12:30- 3:30 map map map ;)

3:30 Meet back up at Wynkoop Brewery and upload data

5ish and on-- beer time??
