Drupal Modules & Related Software

Feed API module - used for ingesting feeds in a more advanced way than the standard Aggregator module.fly-out menus.(Great video tutorial at GotDrupal - don't be confused by main subject of video (Beautytips), as this really covers Feed API well)
Panels module - Breaks up the Content region with sub-region layouts, essentially allowing Nodes, Views, and Blocks to all appear within the content area.
Open Atrium distribution - A customized Drupal 6 for intranets. Uses all community modules and is free. Provides groups, tickets (track bugs & feature requests on projects), and good emailing capabilities.
Drush software - Professional Drupal administration software. Command-line (Terminal) control over updating and installing Drupal and any of its modules. Turn Drupal maintenance from hours into seconds!
Artisteer software - used for creating custom Drupal themes. Windows full release; Mac at beta.
