DropCamp '14
Organised by veterans of the Drupal community, DropCamp welcomes you to the city of Enschede for a weekend filled with Drupal like you have never experienced before. We will come together in the first weekend of July to teach, learn, and do business about Drupal in a relaxing and social setting. The DropCamp village will be a place where you will breakfast with hardcore Drupalistas, find business opportunities, and share ideas and drinks with newcomers.

We were pretty stunned by the fact that you folks submitted an awesome amount of 60 sessions. Selecting sessions always means that you have to draw a line at some point, but I really think that we were able to put together an outstanding line-up of Drupal and non-Drupal talks for this conference.
Keynotes anyone?
This is really exciting for us! Jeffrey aka. Jam McGuire from Acquia will kick-off the camp with his Friday keynote "Connecting Open Minds" that very much reflects our conference theme: connect with relevant experts from within and outside of the Drupal community.
Equally exciting, but from a totally different angle, John O'Nolan, founder of the Ghost project keynotes the second day of DrupalCamp Vienna: "Focus: The Value of Choosing Just One Thing at The Bazaar" is about the value of not diversifying, but doing just one thing - and doing it really, really well.
Contribute your own module
Have you written your own Drupal module? We would love to see it contributed.
This sprint is about helping you to contribute your Drupal module. We will pear review your code, to help you learn reviewing and to receive reviews. We will discuss the project application process process, and we will talk about coding standards, licenses, etc. And the final evaluation will probably take place in a local bar ;)
Bring your laptop and together we will build a stronger community.

Tuesday November 19 we'll have another Dinner with Drupal. Between 17:30 and 18:30 a number of presentations will be given, after which we will have dinner at the venue.
There are two spots for community-powered presentations. Would you like to share your knowledge or ideas? Please contact me.
We'll meet at Brasserie De Kater in downtown Enschede. This cafe/restaurant can easily be reached by bike, car, bus, or train.

Er is plek voor mensen van de community om een presentatie te houden. Heb je een voorstel? Neem dan even contact op.
We komen samen bij Brasserie De Kater in hartje Enschede. Deze locatie is eenvoudig per fiets, auto, bus of trein te bereiken. Na de presentaties, die rond 19:30 afgelopen zijn, zullen we in het café samen wat eten.

Do you have a Drupal-module or theme you want to contribute to the community? This is your chance.
In this sprint we will start contributing your code. Of course we will do this the "community way". You and other participants will review each others code and work together to make it better and get the code accepted. The exact content of the sprint depends on your module and what you have already achieved in contributing it. Possible subjects: the acceptance procedure, coding standards, a drupal.org sandbox project, pear review and module maintenance.

South African looking for work in Europe
Hi everybody,
My name is Henno Gous, and I am a qualified industrial engineer and Drupal web developer from South Africa. I will be moving to Europe with my wife in in March/April 2014 and I'm looking for work. The actual location where I find a job will probably determine where we move to... we're open for suggestions :)
I'm currently finishing my Ph.D in industrial engineering, focussing on innovation management. I have also worked as an internet strategist, business analyst and web developer over the last 6 years and I have extensive knowledge of the Drupal platform.

Zoals gesuggereerd in de Drupal Jam sessie over Magento/Drupal Commerce, kan Drupal Commerce echt een interessant E-commerce platform worden voor de toekomst.

Language Switcher
I have a multilingual Drupal 6 site. In this I have enabled three languages i.e English, Spanish and Brazil.
Recently I have installed the "language switcher drop down" module.The module is just working fine except one problem that when I create a content in "Spanish" language then at the time of node view the "language switcher" drop-down showing all three languages instead of showing only Spanish option.It is also affecting the URL alias after selecting the language other than Spanish. Please help me on this if you have any idea.
Any type of help would be appreciable.
