- promote Drupal in southern Colorado and the Colorado Springs area
- educate local Drupal users in front-end and back-end design and development
- provide a common setting for general discussion and conferences regarding Drupal
Link Checker software
Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a link checking software tool that works well with Drupal. Thanks!

September Meeting. If you wanted to learn about Views Attach, you would have loved Mike Potter's presentation. If you hadn't used Features yet, Matt Kleve was the man. And then, Rick Nashleanas gave an overview of the new Mercedes-Benz Club of America site.

I have been contemplating this idea for awhile, but I was wondering if there was any interest in our immediate area for an intro module developers training session.
I would be willing to run it but I would need to find a venue, I can only fit 4 people in my living room :)
Let me know. I think this would be a great opportunity for all!

Update: This is happening, Drupalcon Denver will be March 19-23 2012 in Denver Colorado! http://denver2012.drupal.org
A few weeks ago the Drupalcon North America organizing committee did a survey to gauge community interest on where to hold Drupalcons for 2012. One of the items on the list was Denver, but we never really had much discussion of it here in these Colorado groups.
So, what do folks think?

August Meeting. Mike Potter gave a very insightful talk about usability for the non-technical end user and the use of the Drupal module Nodes In Block: http://drupalmodules.com/module/nodes-in-block There was so many side conversations going on that it was impossible to document everything covered. If you're anywhere in southern Colorado, you miss a great deal of valuable information if you're not here.

July Meeting. July was another unique meeting. The meeting started with Cheryl Morton in the driver's seat with 15 or so Drupal folks as back seat drivers. (Thanks for your patience with us, Cheryl.) Cheryl was at her computer and various Drupal developers and designers talked her through setting up her first Drupal site. As several folks teamed up with Cheryl to further customize her new site, 3 or 4 discussions were spawned on a wide variety of Drupal development and design topics.
August Meeting. Mike Potter has graciously volunteered to give an interesting presentation:

We had an amazing time at the camp this year, but there were a lot of folks missing. Whether it was people from previous years who couldn't make it, or new members we want to hear your opinion!
We do a survey for the people who show up, but that just leads us to make the event more and more like they want it. What about the opinion of people who didn't make it? Please, fill in this survey so we know what we can do to make the camp appeal more to you for next year.
Thanks!

Hi
We're looking for a few user group members who can participate in one or
two of our tutorials that we're live streaming from our Velocity

hoping people can offer feedback and help troubleshoot.
If you're interested in participating, send an email to me,

June Meeting. No doubt that the highlight of June's meeting was the kickoff "bring your problems and we'll solve them" session. We just eased into the latest and best of Drupal and the web in general. Just too much to list here. You just gotta come!
July Meeting. No doubt that our July meeting will be all about sharing the best of what we learned in and outside of the sessions at DrupalCamp Colorado. Didn't make all the sessions you wanted? Didn't hit both days? Our meeting will help take up the slack.

Hey everyone! There have been many sessions proposed for DrupalCamp Colorado this June in Denver and as an attendee you can help shape the conference and go to the sessions you value most by voting this week at http://drupalcampcolorado.org/sessions.
If you haven't yet registered for the event please do so soon as the price will increase to $50 on June 20th. That's still a great price for two days (including lunch) with your favorite software.

This is a wiki page to track the tasks to do and the people assigned to do them.
How this works:
1. If you see a todo item you want to help with, add your name after it and start working on it
2. If you see something missing, add it to the list
- Food - Steve H. is interested in putting together off-campus possibilities. Need someone to organize catering. (Miles or potentially Aten)
- Shirts - Kenheim and Kenwoodworth are running with this
- Party - Carl
- Swag - cmchadwick is providing some stuff, we could use some help asking book publishers for copies of books.
DrupalCamp Colorado Accomodations
A couple people at the last SCUG Meetup mentioned getting rooms in Denver for DrupalCamp. I'm checking to see if any hotels offer group rates. In order to get a group rate, a contract needs to be signed for a certain number of rooms regardless of whether or not they get booked. So I wanted to see if anyone is even interested before talking further with the hotels.
Is anyone planning on getting a room?
If so, for Friday, Saturday or both? Have you already made reservations?

May Meeting. Wow. If you missed our May meeting, you missed a lot. (Sorry, Mike.) We very much appreciate the Association of Graduates of the United States Air Force Academy for allowing us to have our monthly meeting in their wonderful facility. The group shared technical, design and introductory Drupal information from Drupalcon 2010 in San Fransisco. Not quite as good as being there, but close.
June Meeting. We have several agenda items for our June meeting:
