DrupalCamp Colorado Registration Opened!
DrupalCamp Colorado Registration has been opened! You can register at the main camp website - http://www.drupalcampcolorado.org
DrupalCamp Colorado is the regions biggest gathering of people interested in Drupal. The event is based around sessions proposed from the community and voted on by attendees. Camp is funded by a mix of entry fees and sponsorships.

Southern Colorado Drupal Meetup
After getting deep into server configurations in our May meeting, we're tentatively talking about how our group is contributing back to the Drupal community through documentation, module development and more. We'll also be talking about the upcoming Drupalcamp Colorado and sharing projects, challenges, tips and stories.
Many thanks for our host, the East Library in Colorado Springs. Our regular meetings are on the first Thursday of the month. We'll start socializing at 6:30, and the actual chatter will begin at 7:00. Our host locks up at 9, so we'll have to be out by then.

Denver Library Birds of a Feather Gathering in Denver on May 14th
There's a growing number of libraries and library-like organizations using Drupal to manage various parts of their systems in Colorado. Having Amy Qualls-McClure come to Denver gives us an incentive to get folks together.
Location
Denver Open Media at 7th and Kalamath in Denver (this is where the monthly Denver Drupal User's Group meetings happen). Google maps can help you figure out bus or light rail options, or parking is available in a lot across the street.

Open Media Camp
I just noticed that the Open Media Camp site is now live. You can submit and vote on sessions, sign up to attend (sounds like only about 75 people can attend), and submit ideas for sessions. This event takes place in Denver on April 18th and 19th. You can find the site at http://openmediacamp.org

Drupal Camp 2009 Planning Meeting #2 POSTPONED
Update: the folks who are contacting various potential venues are still waiting to hear back on their RFQs, so we're going to postpone this meeting until we have something to talk about. They will be posting the responses from the venues on Google Docs as they become available.
On the September 16th meeting, we covered a lot of ground. (Contact any of the organizers for a copy of the meeting notes if you'd like to see them.)
In this second meeting we'll follow up on venue issues, website planning, and general details as much as possible.
