This group is forming a local community of Drupal users, developers and integrators. Meeting locations will depend on interest per location. Some cities in central and southern Oregon include: Ashland, Corvallis, Eugene, Bend, Grants Pass, Medford, and Klamath Falls.
Speaker Diversity Workshop through SFDUG and friends
Drupal Diversity & Inclusion advocates through SFDUG are hosting a Speaker Diversity Workshop to help speakers from underrepresented groups prepare to speak at conferences. This will in turn help local meetups, Drupal Camps, and even DrupalCons develop a more diverse speaker roster. The workshop helps folks bust through their impostor syndrome and develop a topic, title, pitch, bio, and outline. #DrupalSpeakerDiversity

Bend, Oregon Drupal chat
Same as last month, I'm hosting a meetup in Bend to discuss Drupal with anyone who's interested!
This month I'm ready to talk about Search/Facet API, integrating them with SOLR, and various levels of customization that can be done to improve site search usability and functionality. Appropriate for any level of Drupal experience!

Hey there! I'm looking to get a Drupal user group started in Bend. I'll cross-post this to a few other sites, and hopefully we can get a few folks interested! If I can drum up any interest we'll aim for having presentations, but for now this will be a "Brewpal" style meetup to just talk about the platform.
Let's tentatively plan on meeting at Broken Top Bottle Shop. 5:30 on Feb 28. There's plenty of space in the bottle shop, great beer and lots of food options.

Eugene, OR Drupallers
So I moved out here to Eugene about a year ago. In that time it appears that our PHP meetup group has dissolved. I know there has to be at least some Drupal fans in the Silicon Shire....but where are you hiding?
Would people be interested in trying to get the group growing? Maybe partner with Portland and get some interest/shared sessions going?
I currently work at McKenzie Willamette Medical Center, we are moving our current super out-dated intranet to drupal. So the opportunity to share ideas and workflows would be awesome!!

I just joined this group hoping to network a little bit more with some fellow Drupalized Oregonians. I go to DrupalCon every year typically with a buddy, but this year I am going alone. Is anyone interested in putting together a little Southern Oregon group get-together sometime during that week? Maybe during the opening social event we can all just meet up for 10 minutes and introduce ourselves.
What do you think?
