I thought I'd post a couple of quick links to some of the development resources mentioned by me and others last night at the PDXDUG meeting. (Andrew, maybe you can add a link to the module metrics you were talking about).

As we said last night, don't play on your production site; create a dev/sandbox copy where you can wipe everything out if it gets gnarly (and maybe this is obvious, but make sure you're using a different database that the main site too!).

I have a friend in Long Beach that is in the middle of development of a fairly large real estate website. He is in need of theming help over the next four weeks starting immediately. There is enough work to keep at least one person busy full time for those four weeks. Let me know if you are interested in helping and I will get you in touch. I am trying to help him out because he buried in the project right now. Local people that can drive to Long Beach would be preferable.

After walkah's presentation on Drupal 6 Themeing, I ported and contributed a theme to drupal.org. Some really great information that inspired me to contribute a new theme. I did a relatively detailed write up in the showcase forums.

I've created a new tableless, CSS-based XHTML theme. It's a three-column, fluid layout, pictured to your right. No, it won't disappear into white like pictured, but it's still a good theme (in my opinion). If this seems exciting to you, read on...

Just ported Internet Music theme to drupal.

It would be great if we can include about 6 themes. I was thinking for instance about these:

KarenS who just organized a Drupal User Group, in Central IL, gave a presentation to it's founding members explaining a much improved CCK for the D6 release. CDMUG took notes and posted them to share with the Drupal community - check out our milestone 100th node post. ;-)

I have never used the Expression Engine (EE) before, so this is a complete experiment. Let’s see how it goes… with the Fresh theme

From what I can see, EE has a file called index.txt that displays almost everything. This file is our page.tpl.php candidate.

The example WP theme I am trying to use is sodelicious_black.

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of Toronto-based web design & development firms that offer Drupal services?
