CCK

I need some help building a custom view for a new section of a portfolio site that will work as an index of Portfolio Projects. Currently I'm using the CCK, Image & Image Gallery, Node Reference URL, Views2, Views Attach, and other related or dependent modules.

As a sidebar, I also gave the SimpleViews module a try but could not get it to produce the page display I want. Perhaps this is still the way to go...maybe not?

Regardless, I'm having trouble getting a View built that will display the Portfolio Project content.

So, I've been trying to use views with CCK, Location, and GMap for a few days now. I can get everything working fine, but there is one problem that I can't figure out. I made a GMap styled node view and everything comes up fine except for the popup info. The popups work fine, but the only data that is put into the popup is the label for each field.

I got a problem when developing a compound field (Drupal 6, cck 2). It has an Imagefiled, a few textarea/textfield/checkboxes, etc.

However, I realize that I must enable users to upload multiple images. The compound field as an entire field can be set to "unlimited" number of values , but not the individual field in the compound field.

In other words, all individual fields in this compound filed, other than the image field, can only have just one value; the compound field as a whole, can only have one value, too. But the image filed must be able to have unlimited number of values.

This is to fulfill a fairly urgent client need, so if I don't get feedback in the next 12 hours or so I'm going to build this anyway, but whether I release it or not depends on feedback here. I can't find anything like it, but if anyone can think of a smarter way to achieve this with existing contrib, let me know. Here's what my client needs:

1. "Archived" in this context means moved to another physical location to free disk space
2. We want the ability to specify either a date or a time period after which files in a specific file field should be archived

Nu är jag här och frågar igen, har letat överallt men finner inte det jag letar efter. Jag vet inte om jag har tänkt helt fel, men jag har gjort en sida där jag har gjort ett antal olika roller och gett dem rättighet att editera sitt egna innehåll. Jag har även använt taxonomy access permission för att sätta vilken taxonomy som tillhör vilket innehåll, och vad de får göra med det.

I created a content type 'Island Profile' (to store different related types of island specific information for numerous islands) using CCK. I am using Views to query the database, to output the different types of corresponding 'Island Profile' specific information, into numerous view panes within a single view for each island. Finally I am using Panels 3 to layout the created view panes for the 'Island Profile' content type into a panel page.

I have a few questions;

Question 1.

I'm considering developing a module to extend the functionality of TAC to role/field combinations. TAC works wonderfully for controlling access to whole nodes based on their taxonomy, but it's all-or-nothing; the module currently has no way of leveraging the per-field access control offered by Content Permissions.

I don't think the functionality belongs in TAC itself, as my proposed module is an additional layer of complexity that's specific to CCK content types.

I created my first slideshow using the Views/Gallery, and for several days it all worked fine. All of a sudden I noticed that images were no longer rotating. I went back to look at the View (but I knew I hadn't changed anything)...then discovered that it worked fine in IE??

What had changed? I had installed the 'notify' module, and it complained about some js files (which I found and uploaded to the datepicker)...could that somehow have effected things? I'm at a loss,
