Skall man blanda, hur isf.? Och glöm nu übercart, va bara exempel med online shopping...

Anyone for a Views Tutor?

Okay I have been struggling with Views for several weeks now as a new Drupal user. I have read everything I can find and watched several videos online, but I must be missing something, because my outputs are not what I am looking for.

I am an extremely fast learner, but I am a bit puzzled by this, the odd thing is some times I get random results, so I am not sure if there is something a miss with my database or code.

Adding graphic header to the contact form

So I used cck to add an imagefield to all of my "pages" on website - so each page now as a graphic header before the content. Perfect. Except the contact form. I thought I might be able to do something similar with CCK and Views? First question I guess, is what type of node is the contact form? I was thinking I would need to create a contact_form_node.tpl.php file. I never created any type of node.tpl.php file, so I'm not sure if I'm headed down the right path here. Suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks
Donna

Campo para horario

Hola,

Gracias

Site performance (Complex front page layout + Views)

Hi all,

I am currently working on a project to convert a static HTML newspaper site (with about 1700 articles in English and Spanish) to Drupal 6. Most of the data is imported and the site is pretty much assembled, but I am running into some major performance issues that I need some help with.

The basic content type used throughout the site is "Article", which has about a dozen CCK fields.

Permissions again :-(

I'm still having massively annoying permissions issues here in Boston. Conflicts between OG's "Organic Groups Access Control", CCK's "Content Permissions", and Workflow's "Workflow Access" permissions are rampant. (Posting to Boston too for compassion and insight.)

Videos Posted: Design for Drupal Camp Boston

The video we captured is posted and linked off the Session pages.

http://boston.design4drupal.org

Titles with "+ Slides + Video" for example on the end will have those resources.

We hope that those that could not attend will enjoy some of the goodness we shared at MIT on June 13 and 14, 2009.

A special thanks to Sheeri Cabral and her assistant Ed Carlevale for their brilliant production work.

Discussion page on CCK admin pages

Hi All,
I've had some feedback from MediaWiki fans extolling the virtues of Wiki Templates (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Template) which in my mind are kind of analogous CCK content types (ie content types defined by a user). One neat feature you get with templates is the ability to discuss their development using the mediawiki Talk page, and I was wondering if somebody has thought about doing this for CCK. Hey maybe it's possible to define a CCK type through a node? Maybe I'm just rambling, but I just thought I'd throw it out there.

Cheers,
Kehan

Content Subtypes module proposal (discussion)

Following text was moved from wiki page to discuss it. Use that wiki to form up a feature list and for task planning.

Inspired by Taxonomy fields module.

Often it's hard to make an “universal” set of fields to describe some real-world object with single content type. Many fields in many cases will be empty or filled in by default. The alternative is to make a lot of “pre-defined” types, but there are no useful tools to organize them and associate with a custom logic.
