Ride to Jan 8 Boston meetup
I'm probably driving out to Boston on the 8th for the Boston meetup. See http://groups.drupal.org/node/7767
I may be able to bring someone depending on whether or not I'm meeting with a client out that way first. Let me know if you are interested and I'll let you know if I can give you a lift.

KarenS who just organized a Drupal User Group, in Central IL, gave a presentation to it's founding members explaining a much improved CCK for the D6 release. CDMUG took notes and posted them to share with the Drupal community - check out our milestone 100th node post. ;-)

For the October Meetup I'm thinking we can do something laid back and fun. Let's meet at Sweet & Vicious after work on Tuesday October 30th from 6-8pm.
Sweet & Vicious - http://www.sweetandvicious.com/
5 Spring St. between Elizabeth & Bowery
Map - http://maps.google.com/maps?q=5+Spring+St,+New+York,+NY+10012,+USA&ie=UT...
Sweet & Vicious is a good after work bar that still retains some aspects of the old Bowery. It is the only business in a massive graffiti clad building, which still looks like it is occupied by squatters.
We can all get to know each other, trade some ideas, and start implementing those ideas in the month to come. Feel free to post your interests in the comments below.

DBUG Meet-up in Boulder at pingVision
We're having our next DBUG meetup in Boulder at pingVision, downtown Boulder, on Thursday Oct 18th.
On the agenda:
- Introductions
- We're going to try something that other groups elsewhere have used to nice result: Everyone shares a tip (e.g., something they learned recently about Drupal that was really cool), and asks a question (e.g., something that is stumping them in their current project). Following will be some discussion about these things. It may take 10 minutes, or it may take the entire session.
- Showcases
- People can show off what they're working on -- a module, a new website, a design, whatever. Greg Hines, John Fiala and Rad Anzulovic will demonstrate the new module they've developed that builds off of jCarousel -- neat stuff!
Come one, come all! Even if you are brand new to Drupal, you are welcome! Please RSVP in a comment if you can. (Not required.) And if you have any agenda suggestions, or something you want to showcase that will require special setup, please let us know.
