Wie gestern beim DUB Treffen besprochen brauchen wir für das DrupalCamp in Berlin eure Unterstützung. Wie Marco und Ronald schon angekündigt haben, brauchen wir u.a. Leute, die als Chairmen für die Tracks und Sessions mithelfen wollen, Leute die uns beim Empfang zur Seite stehen, beim Auf- und Abbau, usw.

Dort kann sich jeder, der mitmachen möchte, ein Account erstellen und einfach schreiben was er/sie gerne machen würde und/oder Tipps geben.

Wie gestern beim DUG-Berlin Treffen besprochen suchen wir natürlich noch fleißige Helferlein die mit Tat oder Rat beim Drupal Design Camp Berlin mithelfen.

Auch für das Drupal Design Book werden noch Autoren gesucht!

Dazu hier einmal die Möglichkeit sich miteinander zu connecten um dann in einer geschlossenen Diskussion gemeinsam alles weitere zu besprechen.

Auch wer nicht mithelfen kann aber gerne informiert bleiben möchte kann sich natürlich hier mit den anderen verbinden.

I have a problem. Yesterday a very large influx of visitors to our site brought down our server! :( After some investigation we noticed that we had about 10K visitors in a 9min span before our server went down. We were told by our tech support that our server requires more memory (currently at 2GB) and to reduce the phpMemory limit (currently at 128MB) as well the the number of maximum Clients served.

In short, this is what my proposed module will do.

However, sometimes the conditions will be topic level, sometimes it will be within the topic. The expressions must be user readable (eg.: module is views with version greater than 3.0). There can be 3 kind of displays of a conditional text: visible, hidden, collapsed fieldset, which can be chosen by the site builder.

I have to choice how manage section of a large Newspaper Website.

I could choice to use only one DB to manage all but I will get 2 tables with large amount data (about nodes and search index) and great problems about queries optimizations for search index.

I am hoping to find someone local who could help me configure Drupal Ubercart for a client's site. I haven't done Ubercart before although I have done many Drupal sites. I can pay for the help of a qualified person. I have bought a book and have the site mostly configured but I need someone to help me with a few problems I'm having with implementation. We are looking for some assistance with our Drupal based site. Our website is iHuntColorado.com, it is primarily comprised of a directory, gallery, blog, and forum.

While we are happy with the overall look and functionality of our site, we no longer wish to do business with our original website developer. As such, we are now looking to establish a relationship with a developer who is skilled in Drupal, is reliable, and is competitively priced.

I've been grinding away at this for many days now, and I feel like I'm never going to get past this brick wall. It's also becoming a pressing matter for my client. So I'm considering hiring this out, but first I'd like to take one last swing at getting this challenge solved.

Here's what we've got:
* There are CCK nodes called "quests". These quests have a hidden textfield on them containing a 10-character code.
* Users complete these quests in the real world, and upon doing so are given a little slip of paper with the quest's secret code.

I'm looking for someone to teach me Drupal for around 1 hour per week, probably at weekends. I'm trying to make a little site myself with a blog, and am finding it really hard. Nothing too complex required, I don't think, just someone to help explain things and answer questions :) It would be great to meet in Frankfurt at one of the cafes with free wifi... I'd pay around 10-15 €/hour... can't afford too much, I'm afraid! I have free hosting and a domain set up. English preferred, but German also possible (I'm at intermediate level).
