Okay, I'm developing a new site and about to hit my wits end on this. Using Drupal Version 6.16 and was using captcha 6.21 but have temporarily gone back to a beta 3 version of 2.0 since someone else had posted this "fixed" the problem. Returned back to 6.21 since my efforts were to no avail.

I'm building my user profiles with cck and the content_profile module. To explain my problem/question here's a little example:

The user profile containes fields to collect information about himself and his children (birthday, school and gender for each child). Because the quantity of children differ from family to family I don't know how many content fields are needed to be created in the first place (five children, six children … 20 children?).

Får detta fel när jag vill mejla usern jag skapat.

kan det vara webhotellet som bråkar eller är det drupal som är ledset?

I'm currently working with a tech firm in Dallas on a Drupal setup. Their first so they don't completely know what they're doing. We finally got the install working so I went in to set me up as a user on the site. Clicked the Create New Account button, submitted my username and email address and never received an email confirmation with my password. Not good. I checked PHPmyAdmin and sure enough, my username is setup with an encrypted password but that doesn't help me since it's encrypted. How can I get my email confirmation.

Is it possible just to add a map to a user page?

Even after 2 years of struggling, I still feel like a newbie, as I say in all my posts, and I have been trying for myself for some weeks now (few spare hours a week) and I am about to give up on this AND on Drupal.
How come it is not possible to find a step by step explanation or even any reference to something essential and apparently simple like this?
For the moment I have the impression that users dispose of a map only for INPUT but NOT for OUTPUT????

Finns det någon modul som gör att man kan låsa så att man har vissa användare som har användning till "sina" filer.

Ex.

Om man driver en sida där man har en kundavdelning. Olika kunder har olika login och där kan dom lista sina "avtal" och ladda ner och beskåda (fast andra användare kan inte se deras filer utan bara sina egna)

Every once in a while, I am faced with the lack of flexibility of the comment system of drupal. Usually it is fine enough so we forget about little features, but this one is I think worth thinking about.

User case scenario :

• Someone post a new topic in a forum.
• Someone else comments on it, as well as 10 other peoples.
• one of the 'commenter' change his comment

Is possible to assign user at levels? So I how admin am at level1, my user at level2 and they users at level3.
And every level can manage how want the lower levels.

Example use:
Level 2 can only see/manage own and lower users (not top)
etc.

If I am the site's admin, I can see/manage all the users. This is normal.

But why, if an user have permission for Access at user profiles, can to see also me in the user list?
Is possible, I (the site admin) not to appear in those list?
