panels

Precis börjat kika på panels som vi ska ha till ett projekt vilket jag tycker verkar väldigt läckert och användbart. Har dock fått ett litet problem när jag ska använda det i samband med views.

There are ways to organize a page before it gets rendered to the screen. The purpose of this presentation is to show what Drupal does out of the box (blocks/regions) and then show 2 alternatives that provide more flexibility (context & panels). We will identify the strengths and weaknesses of each and provide examples for situations where one is more suited than the other.

i'm trying to get ahah running in the form for my custom ctools content type, which is shown at configure pane.
My goal is to provide a form with textfields and a "add textfield"-button, so the user is able to add new textfields.
After getting no results so far i began wondering, if maybe the modal dialog is not compatible with ahah?

Jag använder Panels 3 och content profile för att ändra användarprofilerna (använder den user profile template som följer med panels). Till detta har jag sedan även Flag Abuse som stoppar en Flag-länk på varje profil (jag visar den länken genom ett views-fält som är tillagt som content i panels). När en användare flaggar profilen genom att trycka på länken så ska ett meddelande skickas iväg till admin via private message modulen. Meddelandet är redan skrivet och använder token [account:user] för att visa vilken profil som har blivit flaggad som stötande.

Always on a quest for the best way to make a good Drupal site structured.. I am one to impose limitations on the user (site editor) in order to preserve good site structure, but I have come across something that has thus far eluded me.

I am using a separate Panel per site subsection with several Panel Variants therein all based on path in order to produce a consistent site subsection navigation experience: common left menu, 2- or 3-columns within based on current page, and similar side components per page.

Hi. I am building a panel with tabs for a travel agency, that has a list of taxonomy of places at the left. When a user clicks on "Africa" in that list, ajax passes the term id to a view that is called by a php file. That php file then return the view to the javascript that puts it into a corresponding tab. This is the problem however: When a new view is loaded, its pager loses the URL and redirects to the front page. Is there a way to pass the current URL to the dynamically generated view for its pager?

I'm thinking of making a style plugin for panels module. this style will display panel panes as portlets; enabling collapsing and sorting panes, and saves panes state per-user (cookies based for example).

Is it possible to use workflow states with panels? Ideally, being able to have a revision of a panels page go through the same process as other types of content.

I just wrote a module for Drupal 6.x that leverages the power of nodewords "custom pages" to set the Page Title using wildcard paths and tokens. Great for tough-to-reach page titles in Views, Panels, and other non-node paths!
