Lunchtime - Salt Lake City
There is a meetup in downtown Salt Lake City on the 2nd Thursday of each month. An event is posted for each meetup a week or two in advance to determine topics and manage other plans.

Conditional popups in Drupal
I want to create popups that invite visitors to sign up for an email list when they click on a specific type of link (node type). I need it to stop appearing once they have signed up. I do not know how to do this in Drupal.
I am using the Open Outreach distribution, which includes RedHen CRM. I found a module to create popups (Popup), but am not sure how to get it to interact with my CRM.
Any ideas?

Unable to change author name on comment
In moving a website to Drupal &, we hired someone to copy & paste comments into the new site. Unfortunately, all names were left off, resulting in all comments being authored by "anonymous". When I try to edit the name, I get the error message, "You have to specify a valid author."
Is there a way to circumvent this restriction temporarily? I have over 700 comments to correct.

Utah DUG Code of Conduct
While at 2014 PNW Drupal Summit, Jeremy and I talked with a woman named Catherine from Black Mesh (in Chicago, I think). She mentioned how it would be good to get a code of conduct for the Utah DUG. This way we can provide a generic set of rules that keep our community and group open and inviting, as well as respectful to our existing members. I came up with one based on a few different code's, and wanted to know what your guys' thoughts were on it.

Today, we had a good DUG (Drupal User Group) meeting down at the Smart Rhino office. As the SL Area DUGs grow, we talked about the need for more structure and leadership to take things to the next level while spreading the work across more people.

After a recent failed attempt to update Drupal core & Open Outreach, I took my site back to a backup version with the help of tech support folks at my hosting service. The rollback would not work, and the tech assisting me said that there were a lot of permissions that needed fixing. So he tried to fix them.

One off page builder
I'm looking for a module or tool to do one-off page layouts.
I use panels and mini-panels for my content types but we repeatedly need to create custom layouts within the body a basic page.
I want to know if there is something that can easily (without coding) create columns and regions for one-off situations. Can anyone suggest anything?

I need help guys! My employer, SolutionStream, is getting more and more clients asking for Drupal development, and right now I'm the only person who knows Drupal! It sounds like there is quite a lot of room for more Drupal devs, so I thought I'd throw a line out to see if anyone is looking for work. SolutionStream is a great company that employs tons of devs and designers to create web applications for a variety of clients. So you get to work in different places, on different projects, and learning new things all over the place!

DUG Meeting This Month?
Thanks everyone who came out to Drupal Camp last week. It was really fun! I hope you learned some new things while you were there.
Just wanted to see how much interest there is in having the regular Thursday meeting this month. I'm not sure if it's too close to the camp or not. So if we get more than a few who want to meet let's plan on it. It would be next week on the 28th if we did.
