DrupalSH Meetup -- Nov.14, 2012
Drupal meetup, compared to Drupal Happy hour, is more structured. Please see the agenda for the coming meetup. Going forward, we will host the meetup on the second Wednesday evening of every month.

We let everyone to introduce themselves, talking about what they do with Drupal, and why they come to this meetup. Also, we will pick one simple question related to Drupal for that particular meeting, and expect people to offer their own experience or opinions.

I got contacted by fellow drupalista who is visiting Beijing for his business on November 6th.
And we are planning Great Wall hiking (real hiking not just for touristy style :))
I haven't really done real Great Wall hiking myself except touristy short visit and if any of you like this idea and would like to join, feel free to let us know.
Beijing training formal+fun meet up on Oct 28th Sunday
I'd like to discuss how we could organize/plan the office/formal/training style meetup for October 28th in Beijing-Haidien area.
There will be different level of Drupal skill set and knowledge so focusing certain level might not be ideal.
I was thinking we could all participate and request or offer what we would like to learn or propose or share by commenting.
Then we can vote(click like button or plus button) and also discuss and choose topics more open style. :)

不要以常规的cms做网站的建站方式来学drupal。用drupal建网站的人，大多数人都怎样做，我们就跟着这大多数人用的方法学。学drupal的方式：跟着大多数人的路去走。
以前看过台湾的一个视频教程。视频的内容是台湾的几个建站公司请了 zen 主题的总维护者和他的妻子（她是华人）到台湾去给公司里的人讲drupal的主题制作。当时，那几个台湾的程序员反复提问smarty模版引擎如何应用于 drupal，drupal可否用smarty之类的问题。那zen主题的维护者反复的说，不用smarty,要用drupal的方式,用 phptemplate。其实，drupal默认用的是phptemplate模版引擎，多数人都用这个。
台湾的那几个程序员代表了一些人的建站方式。这些人，以前做网站的方法是：先做出静态的html网站，然后，用smarty模版引擎往html里面套。其实，drupal做主题的方法是：让模版去适应drupal，而不是改drupal去适应模版。（这句话可能说错了，没表达清我要说的意思）。用 drupal建完站后，里面会有许多的层级的div。根据psd图做出符合这些层级的主题。而不是先做出div+css的页面，然后用drupal生成页面的html代码。
总之：按drupal的方式来建站非常省事。不要按以前的建站方式来搞drupal。要跟着大多数人的方法去学去做。
