The Skiff, Brighton's coolest coworking space (which has just doubled in size so consider joining up before it fills up again!) is the location for Drupal Coworking Friday, a worldwide event spurred in part by the DrupalEasy Podcast #65 which featured Droplabs, a Drupal coworking space in Downtown Los Angeles, and from whom I mostly <a href="h

I was receiving all these jobs via email and at some point I thought maybe it's because of my email settings. Now that I look at the group, I see most of the posts are job postings.
It's not necessarily a bad thing. With about 500 members, some technical question/answer would be more valuable.
What do you think?

Drupal Coworking Space Apps Hackday @theskiff, Brighton UK
Hi fellow Drupalistars!
Our local coworking space http://theskiff.org is organising a hackday and there's a few of us Drupalistars going down to help out - hopefully with things like profiles, bookings, etc. as it would be great to be able to connect easier with other coworkers and the wider business community and of course I think Drupal is a great platform to build this sort of stuff on.
If any of you are free on a Saturday in the next couple of months and want to join our "Team Dries" ;) and can make it down to Brightoncisco then add you available dates here:
Read moreUpdating Drush for Acquia Dev Desktop (DAMP)
Hi folks.
I'm having a bugger of a time trying to update the version of Drush that's bundled with Acquia Dev Desktop (DAMP). The bundled version is 4.0-rc3 and lots of commands seem a bit wonky (e.g. pm-update) or aren't found at all.
I've tried 'self-update' and 'selfupdate' but they're not found. I've tried downloading Drush and overwriting the Drush folder in the acquia-drupal directory but the version of Drush doesn't seem to change when I run 'status'.

I asked this question on my Facebook page. The results are based on too few numbers to be much more than anecdotal, but I still think it underpins some of the challenges.

Brighton Drupal Drinks - October
Join us at The Eagle on Monday for an informal meetup of Drupal users & developers.
As @theskiff is booked on 3rd Monday of each month for the WP-Brighton meetup I thought it would be a good idea to do as London does and have a monthly 'Drupal Drinks' meetup, so no formal presentations just general discussion and bring any questions about projects you currently have with you.
See you at The Eagle (just round the corner from @theskiff) on Monday at 7pm!
