We have had this group for a little while now, and hopefully we have gathered enough subscribers to get a small group together to discuss organizing our Inland Empire group.
It would be great if we could get a few folks together at a local cafe to discuss moving forward. The goal would be to get to know one another and find any consensus that may exist with regard to objectives for this group, potential meeting areas, potential meeting times, and if needed any areas for separate meetings that may need to be targeted toward edges of our population area.
Some of the LA drupal folks have offered their assistance in getting us started, which would be great. Their experience running their own groups, growing their groups, developing agendas and just general best practices have the potential to help us really bootstrap this area into something we could all benefit from being associated with.
I am available Mondays and Thursdays from about 7:00 in the evening to whenever, and live in Corona. If we aim for a restaurant on this first shot I know of several places that might work real well. One that comes to mind is Mi Mi's Cafe near the 91 and McKinley.
If you are interested in joining me, please post your best time slots and if appropriate an alternative venue. My proposed times and venue are just suggestions.

I'm available Mondays & Thursdays (with a slight preference for Thursdays) and would love to see this get launched! The Corona Mimi's Cafe sounds perfect to me - I think even if it's a small group we just need to meet and officially get the momentum building.

As I said in my email, I'm not very familiar with the area and would love to attend some of the IE meetups, especially if they're scheduled in a way that doesn't conflict with other monthly meetups I go to.
That said, please don't use my request as an overriding guideline for what times and venues work for you. User groups need local leadership and I can serve best in a cheerleader role.
How about the third Thursday of the month? That might be just enough time for everyone to put it on their calendars and it doesn't conflict with any of the major November and December holidays as far as I know.
