A number of people are getting together tonight in Pasadena to hear about how they should start using Drupal. This was set up with a senior LA Drupal member and there is a lot of interest from a number of designers and site builders.
Unfortunately the ninja may have to cancel. I really don't want to face a room full of smiling hopeful faces and tell them they wasted their evening. If you have built a site in Drupal and can make it over to Pasadena tonight your presence will be vastly appreciated! Please contact me immediately for directions. We are meeting on the Caltech campus at 6:30.

if this can be postponed to a later date, I would definitely be able to make it! It's just that right now if I leave the house I will be neck-to-neck in traffic for an ungodly amount of time :)

Just wanted to say this was awesome of you to put together, Matt! I'm also glad that several members of the "LA Drupal" community came out to support. Luckily, the "ninja" didn't cancel. ;)
It's too bad you couldn't make it out, Caro, but I know all-too-well the horrors of rush hour traffic in LA. Next time.
I think it was a success due to folks coming out to learn & share & it seems everyone went home having learned something new. There's talk of a follow-up workgroup/hack night in Pasadena so stay tuned for the details.

There was a lot of excitement generated about Drupal at the meetup tonight and I think that a couple of new converts were created along the way.
Special thanks to Lee who drove across town at the last minute through rush-hour traffic to support the Pasadena Drupal community, thanks so much!!!!
Thanks also to Miguel who showed up to help out the newcomers. It's been a hectic week but everything turned out in the end. Great job everyone.
For the other four newcomers who were interesting in showing up just post a request here and we'll schedule another workshop to get you going.
