I'm currently a member of the Ubuntu California and a junior at Chapman University in Orange, California. I'm currently helping to bring back my school's ACM chapter, and have begun setting up this year's schedule. I'm trying to have a few nights per month dedicated to different events, such as contributing to Mozilla and Ubuntu, movie nights, and presentations. I'd like to have one speaker per month arrive from different aspects of the community to present about topics they love. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in speaking about Drupal and how to implement it and do some awesome stuff with it. Thanks!

When, What, & who
When are you hoping to have someone come talk? When you say do some cool stuff,,, do you mean for Chapman University or for another purpose? Who is the presentation for? Is it an official group? (Ubuntu Cal? Chapman?)

Technical Presentation
Good questions. This would be for the official (school resources + funding) computer club at Chapman. I was hoping for Tuesday, September 16th. The club is going to have an "Open Source Awareness" week in honor of Software Freedom Day on the 20th. This would be mainly a more general purpose presentation, I would hope that students will learn about Drupal and be able to set it up to use as a weblog or something. I'm not personally familiar with the inner workings of Drupal, but it might be fun to see how to set up a base install into a homepage+blog.
I may not be here
I may be at ZendCON, which is on the 15th. If not, I will make myself available.

What Time?
I also might be available to join. I'm in LBC, and Orange is just down the 22FWY for me. But what time?

That'd be awesome, I'd love having as many people as possible. It'll be at 7pm.
