It looks like AcademyX is doing this training in Sherman Oaks and is charging $800. The same company is also looking for a trainer to do this training: http://groups.drupal.org/node/161364

Sorry but I wouldn't pay for

Techivist's picture

Sorry but I wouldn't pay for Drupal training from a place that:
a) doesn't strictly do webdev/Drupal training
b) has zero info about the instructor(s)
c) is unknown to the Drupal community
d) doesn't respond to users/potential students
e) has a website that looks like that!

I know that might sound harsh & I'm sure I'll get dinged but they're my honest thoughts.

If you are interested in Drupal training, there's many reputable Drupal shops that do that. They're involved in & contribute to the Drupal/open source community & their instructors are masters of the subject matter they teach you. The Exaltation of Larks/Chapter Three trainings come to mind (& no, I'm in no way affiliated with them).

It's my hope that folks looking for Drupal training do some research prior to paying in order for you to get the most bang-for-your-buck. Hope that helps.
