My team at UCLA IT Services is hiring a full time, on site web developer to work on a number of Drupal projects and Drupal adjacent front end projects. UCLA IT Services operates almost like a mini agency within UCLA to provide technology services to customers within UCLA. In addition to supporting UCLA specific Drupal and web dev projects, there's a lot of opportunity to collaborate with tech teams across the whole of University of California.
Probably the most exciting thing we're working on right now is revamping our multisite hosting platform (currently in use by many UCLA departments) by building a new UCLA installation profile based on UCDavis's Sitefarm Seed (https://github.com/ucdavis/sitefarm_seed). As part of this project we've been developing a UCLA wide pattern library to help web teams across campus get started with a cohesive web front end framework.
It's a small team so the right candidate would have a lot of input and impact. Working for UCLA is great and has many perks to boot.
