Read moreMobile detection and Varnish, using HTTP Headers
Hi all
I am working on a fairly large site for which we have recently built a responsive template, but want to push the mobile/desktop abilities further by using some form of mobile detection.
The site is built mainly off Views and Contexts, and I have therefore been looking at using a Context + Mobile Detection combo to serve a few different blocks. I have tested with Context Breakpoints, Context Mobile Detect, and more.
Read moreBest credit card processors for Drupal in SA
Hi! I would most appreciate recommendations for commerce credit card processors in SA for ZAR as 2checkout.com is just not doing it for me anymore :)
What I need is to be able to accept credit cards and on fulfillment set order to complete and add a role.
I'm guessing it's between SagePay and Payfast? If any have multicurrency capabilities even better.
Your thoughts would be fabulous, thx! Lilian

In light of the recent Drupal Core vulnerability (https://www.drupal.org/SA-CORE-2014-005) and drupal.org's Public Service Announcement (https://www.drupal.org/PSA-2014-003) I would like to know if there is anyone would would like to speak at the Drupal Meetups about Drupal Security. This goes for both Johannesburg and Cape Town Meetups. This could be one speaker for both or separate speakers for respective regions.
Some things to cover could be:
- Default configuration to make your Drupal installation secure.
- Recommended modules.

Just registered on Reddit for the first time to mention the recent Drupal core vulnerability for the TechSnap show. Maybe it will make the show, but some upvotes will help if you have a moment:

Intellectual Property Talk at Next JHB Meetup

As this field is very vast and to help him prepare we though it would be worth canvasing the community for some topics. Please post your questions in the comments.
Read moreLoud, Drunk Fiasco at JHB Meet-up?
Without a breathalyser one can't assert that there was any drunkenness at the Johannesburg meet-up last night, but in my personal view, the behaviour exhibited was certainly consistent with that and was very disturbing.
While Cape Town meet-ups are going from strength to strength, looking professional, highlighting their speakers and presenting the kind of image that would encourage anyone, even those up here that just see the photos of speakers on podiums delivering great slide shows to want to participate, last night's Johannesburg meet-up felt like an over-served pub towards the end.
