This class starts by discussing the anatomy of a Drupal theme, and explaining the PHPtemplate system Drupal uses to render HTML. We'll guide you through creating a custom theme from scratch by overriding the template files provided by Drupal core, adding new style sheets, and defining your own theme and preprocess functions with a little PHP code.

RockDrupal: Music and Drupal collide. This event is our way of promoting Drupal in the Arts starting with music. Each performance at this RockDrupal night will be provided by local musicians involved with or using Drupal today. Some are Drupal user group members and all this is for a good cause.

This is a time to come down, hang out, and have fun. Bring your music friends down to explain why Drupal is a great platform for their sites. A portion of the proceeds from each RockDrupal event will be donated to both to the LA Drupal user group and the Drupal Association.
