Hola. Tengo unas dudas para actualizar un multi sitio de drupal 6 a drupal 8.
Tratare de explicar lo que eh entendido del tutorial en ingles de drupal.org

1.-Crear una base de datos nuevas para drupal 8.
2..Borrar los archivos del drupal 6 y remplazarlos por el drupal 8.
3.-Entrar al sitio y hacer la instalación de drupal 8 con la nueva base de datos.
4.-Usar el modulo para migrar los datos de la base de datos de drupal6.
5.- Seguir las instrucciones y esperar que no de errores.
Bueno hasta aquí es lo que eh digerido.

This month Jay Epstein (@jeppy64 http://jay-epstein.com/) covered the third part of "The Learning Series: Drupal 8 - Let's be friends." The following topics were covered in Part 3:

• Review of Part 2, including revisiting all of the content types and how they relate to each other, and a general discussion of relativity for two first time attendees. It was a great review for us all.
• Discussed entity references and the strategy behind dealing with "is the child record there or not".
• Views in relativity and how obnoxiously fast they are (you have to see it to believe it)!

Drupal 8 social network integration and functionality is being rewritten and harmonised thanks to Google grant. Expect more unified social network user interaction and config management.

Sitter och bygger om min webbplats i Drupal 8 och har sprungit på en grej som jag inte lyckas lösa, så jag vänder mig till er för att se ifall ni kan lösa min fråga.

Jag har en multispråksajt (engelska och svenska), och på nodlistningen (oavsett vilket tema jag väljer) så skrivs term-länkarna bara ut till den engelska term-listningen, t.ex. /en/taxonomy/term/11

We just launched a redesigned portfolio site for Black Antelope on Drupal 8. In terms of client work, we've only started on new D8 projects and the majority of work is still on D7. However for modules that we maintain and support, it's full-steam ahead to get them stable on D8.

Using comments can be very useful for collaboration. However, additional functionality is still needed for my intended purposes.

Is it possible to include different comment types within a single comment thread?

Within a single comment thread, different comment types will be marked with Icon Images preceding each comment so they will be easily recognized by the users.

Examples:

Image Icon | Image Comment
File Icon | File Comment
Text Icon | Text Comment

We popped a cork to celebrate our 6-year anniversary! That makes 73 straight months of meetups that began in April 2010.

I installed Drupal 8.0.6 and Video module 8.x-1.2 yesterday. Two video content types have been created(video embedded and video uploaded). The embedded video can play video from youtube and vimeo. However after I uploaded a mp4 video file to the drupal site as a uploaded video content type successfully, it can't be played. There is no video thumbnail showing on the browser, see the attached image file for the screenshot. Any comments are appreciated.

Hey all,

I finally got around to installing Drupal 8! I like the built in responsive first Bartik theme, but there are a couple of other changes that are affecting my ability to add custom content to my new installation. The first is the removal of the php filter, and the second are the changes to the JavaScript API.

The removal of the php filter was a minor annoyance, but easily remedied by adding it to my installation. The changes to the JavaScript API however are proving to be my undoing.
