Something to take note of for Red Hat administrators. The currently supported version of PHP in Red Hat will not be supported by Drupal 8. I think RHEL 7 and Drupal 8 are now in a race to see which comes out first.

Hi,
I would like to ask if with Drupal 8 you will be able to create HTML5 applications for the new OS like Firefox OS,Ubuntu mobile OS,Tizen etc.
It seems that the future of mobile applications are HTML5 web apps,so what is the role of Drupal 8 on this one?

So far, in Drupal 7 and contributed module "internationalization" 7.x-1.7, "internationalisation" usually means one, site-wide, original language translated into different languages, which is a very centralised kind of internationalization.

In Drupal 8, will it be possible to have different original languages in one web site?

There is a proposal for a new workflow for CMI over at http://drupal.org/node/1703168#comment-6344116. This proposal differs from the existing version of CMI in that configuration will be written to one directory while being imported from another one. This would address several architectural problems with the current system. For more details please see the issue summary.
