Sticky Notes for class notes!
http://drupal.org/project/sticky_notes
Just found this and have been playing around with it. Still very early on in my assessment of it and it just came out the other day but looks VERY promising for all levels of education. Check out the demo and I'm sure you'll be able to see the possibilities. Basically it lets you create a sticky note or view your own sticky notes. It also has a lot of permission settings so that people can set things to public or private stickies as well as who can view / post notes.

Saludos y muchas gracias!
Read moreTwo excellent modules for drupal based LIMS systems
In the last couple of weeks I've written two more drupal based LIMS systems. To create custom views for these systems I originally used tweaked tpl.php files but in the end I used the "Views Custom Field" module which solved many of my problems I had with the tpl.php files. This module is great to use data which is nested deep into the hierarchy (formed by the node hierarchy module).

Hello,
I think many Apache2 unused modules loaded. I'm going to disable some of them.
But I just want some "do & don't", which one can be disabled, which one is needed for a Drupal website?
Thanks in advance
By the way, this is list of my loaded modules:
Read more120+ Security Based Modules? Really?
I have to admit, Im overwhelmed about the amount of Drupal modules created that deal with security. It seems many are for keeping specific module types from doing insecure things or providing holes in security. So, what about a basic install with Views, CCK, Pathauto, Forums, Blogs, and little else. What are the most useful security modules out there?

Drupal 6 podcasting: best modules?
Hey all,
I notice that the audio module is still unstable on D6 and hasn't had a release since May. Views podcast is still dev for 5x.
So what are you folks using for audio podcasting in D6 sites? I've seen a discussion or two that were from back in the D5 days.
Read moreUpdated comparison of performance modules
These days I've added a feature table to Caching: Modules that make Drupal scale, this group's wiki page for comparison of performance and scalability modules, started by Mike Carper some time ago.
This follows other Drupal module comparison pages, trying to make it simple and clear for most normal cases, so that a majority of users can easily understand the basics and use them. Anyone can naturally share additional info. Let's hope the wiki will be useful for Drupal users.

Read more(Optional) Registration of submodules to prevent namespace conflicts
I am in the early stages of developing a group of modules that will be inter-dependent and will ship as a single downloadable project. This has got me thinking about avoiding module namespace conflicts for submodules that ship as part of other module packages.
