DrupalCamp Göteborg

Nu är det officiellt! Datum och lokal för det första DrupalCampet i Göteborg är satt!

Vi kommer att hålla till i Folkets Hus vid Järntorget den 28:e april. Där har vi tillgång till två finfina föreläsningssalar och ett extra rum för möten, kodning, sprintar, mingel... Så boka in det i kalendern. Ett event på drupal.org är skapat där mer information kommer att publiceras där löpande.

Uppdaterat 2012-01-30: Keynoten kommer att hållas av mortendk.

I am driving to the Western Mass Drupalcamp this weekend from Ithaca, NY. Was wondering if anybody on my way might want a ride? Here is my route. I am presenting at the camp: http://drupalcampma.com/power-views.

Mainly just looking for company on part of the 4.5 hour drive. Also would consider sharing a hotel room but not necessary.

Planujemy organizacje drupalowej konferencji w kwietniu we Wrocławiu, by konsolidować środowisko i dzielić się doświadczeniami.
Obecnie jesteśmy w trakcie ustalania wszystkich spraw organizacyjnych, jest prawie pewne, że termin konferencji to 28 kwietnia (możliwe że potrwa dwa dni. 27 i 28 kwiecień 2012r).

Was that fun or what?

Saturday's DrupalCampNYC 10 was a blast, and our biggest so far! Nearly 400 of us converged on John Jay College for a day of Drupal learning and hanging out, and the activity on Twitter was very cool to see.

Now that the sessions are done and the mountain of bottled water is put away, what happens next?

Good morning,

I just wanted to give everyone a quick status report on Florida DrupalCamp 2012 and to let everyone know of some areas where we're looking for some additional help. We have a great group of volunteers already (24 at my last count), but we need some more to make this not only the best DrupalCamp we've seen in Florida, but also one of the best in the world. We've got a great location partner (Rollins College Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership Center), a great fiscal partner (Central Florida Computer Society), now we just need a few more volunteers to help us pull it all off.

First, a quick update: Florida DrupalCamp 2012 will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 with Coding for a Cause the following day. Registration is now open - tickets are currently $20, but the price will slowly creep upward as we get closer to the event (so register today!). Session proposals will be open shortly - if you'd like to propose a session, you'll have until the end of December to do so. We've got a great group of sponsors, including our Platinum sponsor: Trellon, and our Gold sponsors: Big Couch Media Group, Software Quality Engineering, Mediacurrent, and DrupalEasy. Additional sponsorships are still available, contact me if you're interested.

We're still looking for some help in some key areas to make this the best DrupalCamp ever. The areas include:

Drupal Summit Latino, Guadalajara 2012 will take place on the "Universidad de Guadalajara". Drupal Summit Latino aims at being an event to unite and bring together all the Drupal communities, companies and people around the Latin American and Brazil.

Normally by this time we'd have a venue secured and be working on various elements of Drupalcamp Colorado 2012.

But...of course there's Drupalcon Denver that a lot of folks are busily working on.

So, I'd like to open discussion:

• Should we try to hold a Drupalcamp in 2012? If so, should we try to do an event similar to what we have done in previous years?

I am at DrupalCamp Lagos 2011 at the moment . The turn out is awesome over 90 people so far , the sessions are going on well ....
but we figured that now is the time to call for volunteers ...

note : I said Nigeria ...

It would be nice to have a nationwide conference next year .
decision on venue, city , content , sponsors etc will be up to the decision of the volunteers
