Libraryhack 2011 - Ideas Competition
Have you got a great suggestion for a new and innovative way to use library data but maybe not the technical skills to bring that idea to life? Submit an idea for an application or data mashup to be eligible for this prize. Your idea might then be developed by someone else as an application or mashup as part of Libraryhack. For inspiration have a look at the list of data sets to be made available by the participating libraries and from February 8, submit an idea. You can enter as many times as you like.
Read moreClient design issues
Hi all
I thought I would put this out there. I have a new client that as expected doesn't have a deep knowledge of web design.
Anyhow to cut a long story short as part of the project they asked some other designers to have a tilt at the design along with us. No problem there as we are alway happy to work with good designers no matter where they come from.
The client is looking for the wow factor in the design (I should mention that its my clients client that work if for)

Read moreDistance Learning System using Drupal
Hi all,
I am wanting to meet anyone who has done any work setting up a distance learning or remote education system using Drupal.
Features include:
- enabling students to log in and pre-defining the courses they can have access to ...
- enabling teachers to track students - what they read, and give students marks
- enable students to participate in forums, and discuss issues.
- have a library of resources
I know all this can be done using Drupal - but wanting to know if anyone has already?
Thanks in advance, Sam (sam@media.com.au).

Why are spammers attacking my sitewide contact form?
All of a sudden I am getting lots of spammers using my Drupal 6.9 website contact/feedback form to send me messages containing strange links
I'd like to have provided a sample, but I can't because it fires off the group's spam filter! How do I add that to my Drupal website???
You can see what they are putting into my contact form at http://drupal.org/node/1030438.
What are they trying to achieve by this? And what should I be doing to prevent it?
Tony
Read moreNeed volunteers for http://disasterhelp.me - Queensland Flood site
We need two volunteers for a Drupal 6 website - Theming and improving the process for users and integration with Facebook.
I made the mistake of creating a website without first checking with the Drupal community. QldFloods.org has done such an amazing job and we are working to ensure that we do not overlap. Disasterhelp.me is a simple site based on finding local resources on a Google Map. We want to keep the website simple and work on a clean look.
Here is an opportunity to work in a small team and make your mark on this website. It has been live since Sunday 16th Jan.
