I love Drupal, but some of its themes need work, but then again that has not been its focus. Its focus has been great code, which I love! There are wordpress sites I was thinking about converting, but wanted to know if someone else has already done them. I have a custom CCK compound field, which stores a hierarchical multidimensional tree in json in a field type. I now want to expose this data to views, but in flat way (table with parent relationships).
Any help with how to implement views_data is appreciated.

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to port my incomplete GPS application to Drupal. I am using Zend Framework and Google Maps V3 API for development. Could anyone recommend contributed modules available in drupal that I can use for Location and Mapping during my development.

I was looking through the events for Drupalcamps coming up over the next 6 months and there are very few posted right now. Then I started thinking (not for the first time), that it would be really cool if we had a Drupal Camp in Columbus.

Has this group considered that before? How did it go?
Would anyone be interested in doing this? And if so, how do we get there (seems like a big project?)

yesterday I spoke on the dutch adobe usergroup XL event, an annual event in the netherlands for the adobe platform, on using drupal as a content management system for your flash, flex and air applications with the help of our opensource package. I've made all the presentation files available online.

I've finally completed my Nginx config for Drupal.

Feel free to comment on it and suggest improvements.

In terms of SSL/TLS I opted for the defaults in Nginx (after 0.8.21) that limit the available protocol versions do SSLv3 or later and also cross out support for MD5 as message digest algorithm and anonymous Diffie-Hellman key exchange.
