Persistent login enabled... and jobs block trimmed

I have enabled persistent login module. This adds a checkbox to our login form where you can choose to have drupal remember your password. let me know if anyone sees login glitches.

I also trimmed the Jobs block in each group so jobs created more than month ago disappear. Lastly, a few days ago I added a Jobs block to the homepage.

Is there a way to see all the taxo terms of a group?

I've been trying to find a way to coax a listing of all taxonomy terms for g.d.o groups. Thus far, it has been in vain. Do any of you know how this might be achieved without writing a module, or patching core? The top-10 list at the right side of a group is just not enough info for a group admin to keep things streamlined and organized.

Ideas? Sogg-gestions?

Might this be a help? http://drupal.org/node/16489

RSS feeds switched to full body (and RSS authentication problems)

I switched the RSS so the whole body is sent, instead of just teaser. Why not?

There is still some problem with RSS and authentication but I have not had a chance to fix it. I am tested to ditch the whole securesite http auth thing in favor of token authentication which gives secret urls to each user. Google calendar does this, for example.

Diff module installed, and Activity report created

I have added two nice features that are available only to editors. They are

  • diffs of node content. a nice companion to wikipages especially. a new diff tab shows up on node views if there are revisions and if you have permission.
  • An Activity report which helps prune inactive groups.

Sort order of group view is messed up

if you look at http://groups.drupal.org/seattle
the sort order is messed up. You would expect the node for the january DUG to be at the top, but it is preceded by old nodes. is this because the old nodes have had more recent comments? While i could see a use for that, i think that for dugs having a "most recent at top" would be best.

Also wondering about the site wide posts (like the "bug down" post being sticky at top? how long does that last? If you have a smaller browser window and you come look at the Seattle DUG page you would think that there have been no recent posts that are

allowing anonymous comments?

Moshe - can you comment on allowing anonymous comments?

My preference is to know who everybody is when they post, but I'd like to hear your ideas on the subject.

Merge Business of Drupal with Consulting

I don't know who approved http://groups.drupal.org/the-business-of-drupal -- I recommended to the person who created with it to use/merge with the Consulting group instead (which is closest, in my mind), and didn't approve it.

There are some good posts in there, and I'd like to merge it, and commented on that here.

Thoughts?
