To provide a place for Vermont Drupal users to share experiences, ideas and knowledge and to, occasionally, plan gatherings.
Webforms and E-mail
I am trying to figure out if out of the box Webform can select separate e-mail based on component selection.
Here is an idea of what I am trying to accomplish.
If a user selects component value A an e-mail is sent to address 1,2,3
If the user selects component value B an email is sent to address 4,5,6
If components A&B are selected an email is sent to addresses 1-6.
Any input would be helpful.

Hello, Upper Valley Drupallers!
Thanks to everyone who made it out to our first meetup a couple weeks back. It was great to meet you all and hear about how folks in our area are using Drupal.
I'm looking for topic ideas for this next meetup. If you have suggestions, would you please post them in the comments below. This can be either:
a) Something you are familiar with and would be comfortable speaking about
b) Something you would like to learn about
(...And please specify which of the two it is!)

Does any on have a recommendation for a particularly well managed hosting services for Drupal?

Read moreProduct Configurator
I'm working on a new site that is selling complex products. There needs to be at least two levels of decision making that effect the product configuration and the final price. I have experience running a general CMS with Drupal but haven't worked with UberCart or e-Commerce modules to know what would be best for this kind of product 'configurator'. Any advice in what module to use and how to build a product configurator would be GREATLY appreciated and would surely benefit the whole community!
Thanks in advance,
Scott
Join command for Views
Does anyone know where I can find info on whether Views allows a join query?
Thanks for the input.

Sort views by field data
I am working to climb up from the Drupal learning cliff. I am currently trying to build a view where the content or data in a given field is used to sort.
Example: I am listed the names and positions of a lacrosse team. the Field name: Position and the field content data Attack.
I there a way to create a view using the the data Attack?
Any assistance is welcome.
Thanks

Today I had a meeting about the old Algebar space above Fremeaus Jewelers and it has two spaces. One that is cheaper that we could grow into, the other is more expensive but has glorious floor to ceiling windows wrapping two of flour walls looking out onto church street. I'm reaching out to the Laboratory B folks who are looking for a new hackspace. Who else is interested? If you aren't familiar with co-working spaces they are a cheap way to work in an awesome area with rad people. Small companies and individual feelancers please inquire :).

Meetup in NH/VT Upper Valley?
Hello! My name is Christina and I just moved to Hanover, NH from North Carolina. I noticed there are DUG meetups in Portsmouth, Manchester and Keene (which I'd like to attend). But I'm wondering if there are ever any in the Upper Valley area? Or if there would be any interest if I were to organize one at some point down the line?
Thanks -- looking forward to meeting NH and VT Drupallers!

Next Meeting?
Hi Vermont Drupaleers,
I have been out of touch with the group, and I haven't been doing much Drupal development lately. How is everyone doing? Is there interest in having a meeting soon?
I would love to hear news and stories of Drupalcon 2010 if anyone has them!

Read moreWhat Would Google Do?
I'm reading a fascinating and what seems like a very important book called "What Would Google Do?" by Jeff Jarvis.
I'm speculating that if our Drupal Group read this book and then discussed it, it may energize our group and bring in a lot of people to a meeting(s).
I'd like a response to one line on p. 44 which has a list of "simple and obvious rules for how to think of your internet presence.":
"Don't bury your content inside fancy content management systems that stow it away in databases Google can't get to."

Hi folks,
The Vermont Drupal Group has kind of fallen off the face of the earth. My apologies for diving off the cliff first -- we were so busy this spring and summer I thought my head was going to turn to dust. But I am reminded by several of you that it would be good to see if we could meet again before the end of the year. I'd be happy to host sometime in November or early December at Young Writers Project's new offices in the basement of Champlain Mill.
Please join the discussion on how this meeting might help you, what types of things would be good to discuss or share.
cheers
