This is new stuff, and very powerful:

If there is some community interest in this: We should do a study group meetup on the subject, bof style to explore the possibilities of this thing (adding relations to offsite, rdf, data into views).
Or I could just create some kind of a training course tutorial about it, the way I normally would. But I wanted to put my new found LA drupal community feelers out there first to see if anyone wants to be involved in my mission to understand & master this so I can start offering suggesting this technique to my development clients ASAP. This thing is powwwerful, I'm pretty sure I've always needed this and did not even know it! I knew RDF was for offsite communication of some kind, but without a way to USE it through Drupal, this is a seriously bad ass way to use it too, some of the other usecases for it are kind of - meh, if you ask me, but SPARQL Views appears to be super bad ass, so, time to study up on this for sure.

I'd be interested as well.
Count me in on this. BTW, have you looked at the entries by Lin Clark (author of the SPARQL Views module and heavily involved in bringing RDF to D7 core) on this (http://lin-clark.com/category/topics/sparql)
