Hi guys!
I am building an online store using drupal. I am new to drupal. I was wondering where in LA can find any help, tutoring or classes where somebody can help with this matter. Or may be somebody would be willing to teach me on their free time. Specifically I need help with building product page, slideshows and setting up shopping cart. Thank you!

droplabs
I've found Droplabs to be a good place to find helpful and knowledgeable people.
There are quite a few free lancers for hire working out of there...directions etc. are on their site:

Taking advantage of Droplabs
Hi Olesya,
I'm Blake Senftner, one of the founders of Droplabs. Droplabs is a coworking collective - meaning we are independent consultants who work together in a shared space.
To take advantage of Droplabs, you have the following options:
If you have immediate, pressing needs, I specialize in eCommerce and WebAPIs. Although I have a somewhat full plate, at the least I can direct you with more detail after knowing more information about your specific needs.
As always, because Droplabs is an open collective it is best to call ahead before traveling to Droplabs. We're open 5 days a week, at least, but the opening time varies with whomever of the founders happens to show up first each day. Usually between 9 and 11am.

There are also monthly
There are monthly meetups that go on in the LA area. These can typically be found in the Event Section http://groups.drupal.org/la/events
That is a good place to network and meet people that work with drupal. You can also post a job (http://groups.drupal.org/node/add/job?gids[]=3002) or contact a member directly from our Directory of Los Angeles-based Drupal businesses http://groups.drupal.org/la/business-directory
If you have any questions, you could ask it here or you could also chat with us on IRC http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=drupal
Post questions
You can always just post questions here as well - lots of people are happy to chime in with feedback and answers.
