Korean payments gateways and merchant accounts

Annyeong haseyo! 안녕하세요

I heard a rumor that Korean government is introducing regulations that will shut out non-Korean payment gateways like PayPal. What are the payment gateways and compatible merchant accounts that Korean users are using with Drupal?

Even if the rumors aren't true, I'd like to get an idea what people are using in preparation for our first-ever Korean-language Drupal meetup in Koreatown, Los Angeles, in California.

Just wanted to follow up on this post from 11 months ago.

I posted the same question to the KDrupal group on Facebook where there were a couple replies:

And any news on that rumour about Paypal being shut out?
I keep receiving emails in Korean from Paypal Korea, so I can't imagine they're expecting to be kicked out
