Better than expected!
Thanks to all for a productive meeting today. The ability to collaborate with 'local' Drupal'ites will surely enhance my Drupalize wizardry. :)

Change in plans - pushing back my proposed presentation
I'm going to have to push my planned 'presentation on how to build kick-ass hyperlocal media network' to...well...after it's actually complete. I've been documenting the process, breaking it down to various topics for learning/workshopping, and have been looking at ways to open up the project to collaboration. I'll post more detail this week and can discuss during our meetup on Sunday.
Having said that, I've posted a proposal for a 'mission critical' project that we could workshop on Sunday. It would be a tremendous way to learn AND make a valuable contribution to the entire community.

Proposed Outline
Here is a proposed outline of what we might be able to demo and discuss in that time.
We have about 1/2 dozen custom modules for cross-uploading to the Internet Archive and assigning Creative Commons licenses and managing various media types. These were all written in Drupal 4.6 and we would like to upgrade these to 5.1 and contribute back to the Drupal community. I would love to open this up to a discussion of what are people's favorite modules and which ones make sense for us to contribute as new and which ones should be rolled into existing modules.
BTW, I'm bringing a projector.
