Drupalcon was fantastic! Not only did I learn more about topics I knew about, I also learned about topics I never knew existed, and now know what more to learn. Cool. The con was 3000 strong -- hordes of beginners, themers and coders. For this con I was only comfortable attending sessions and meeting a person here or there -- but who knows, maybe at my next con I'll know enough to join the impromptu Drupal discussions that sprouted up all over.

Many of the session videos are up at archive.org. Search for drupalcon 2010.

Some suggestions of excellent sessions are: Dries Buytaert's keynote speech; Angela Bryon's Drupal 7: What you need to know; Views Examples: Using Arguments and Relationships; jQuery, Views, and View Themeing [sic]; and Media Module: Multimedia in Drupal 7. Loved listening to the people who actually are creating the new media module where they talked about their approaches.

By far the best for me was the 2nd half of Module Building for Beginners (Drupal 6 and 7) - Intro and Workshop. Who knew that you could build your own modules to put up a custom form or add functionality to a button! Duh -- my level of Drupal knowledge just increased 10-fold. If only this session was on the first day, not as the last session, but the Pro Drupal 6 book, here I come!
