During the Drupalcon Radio BOF someone discussed a scheduler they had built for a TV station that had a three-level structure (program, episode, instance), does anyone know who that was? Thanks.

The D7 Community Media project, http://groups.drupal.org/community-media, (previously Open Media Project in D6, http://groups.drupal.org/open-media-project) is an end-to-end suite of modules for managing Public Access TV station assets relevant to producers: shows, airings, scheduling, video media assets, transcoding, playback server integration, media archiving, producer projects, physical and studio inventories, and continuing education classes.

We have 10 stations total launching on Drupal 7 over the next few months. 98.KUPD.com is the first one and we went live on Tuesday. Feedback or comments would be appreciated. Thanks............Drew

We have been using the Station and Audio modules for years on Drupal 5 and just migrated to Drupal 6. We use the audio archive module and works fine. We need to off load our archived audio (aka podcasts) to another server with a lot of storage (our Dreamhost) while keeping our main web server on an EC2 instance and keep our costs down.

I have been trying to find instructions:

Is there a Drupal 7 module that would play a streaming mp3 or m3u URL to somekind of player. Perhaps the jplayer (http://www.jplayer.org/latest/demos/)

I was thinking of just using a text field, then theming in the jplayer ( or some other ) audio player... but not going to start until I confirm someone else has not already done it.
Also looking for some feedback on it.

perhaps another audio player that I should look at.
Just to be clear... the setup would include a URL... and not include doing a file upload.

I installed Station module for D6
It is really like I can't yet make out what it is supposed to do.
1. I have installed the module and configured it
2. I have created schedules, programs and play list
3. Naturally I expected audio output from the website since the programs are on
4. But...... nothing ! (aaaaarrrgh !!..can you believe this ?!!)

Apparently the function of this module is just to create a schedule,and program for site visitors to see , right ? .But what is the point of the playlist when it doesn't play ? Hmmmn.

Any stations out there want to share their experience with upgrade of Station from v5 to v6? Particularly with focus on the Audio module. Are you continuing to use the Audio module? Any issues? Or are you using a different media module?

With 5.x officially unsupported, we are looking to move from Drupal v5 to v6. We have over 5 years of News audio segments uploaded using Audio v5 module. So we are a little concerned with how these will move over to v6. I have read that the current v6 Audio module is unstable, so we are looking for feedback/guidance from the community here. Should we keep using Audio for v6, or is there a better module?

I have started to build a drupal music site and i have spent so much time trying to figure what modules to use. I considered the unstable "Audio" module but decided since it is not updated. I want my users (local artists) to be able to upload their music and sometimes a whole album (which will include album art, lyrics). And then display a discography page like this MyPlay heavenly goodness here --> http://myplay.com/music/david-cook/david-cook

I have created 3 content types:
-Artist (with Content Profile module)
-Album: [reference_artist]

Hello,

We have a separately created HTML page with the stations media player on it and want to add the On Air block data to it. How do we add that to a normal non-drupal webpage?
