dear nyc drupal peeps,
i have a really unique opportunity for all y'all who are hammering with drupal. yesterday, you got an email from me stating we're looking for coworkers and that we're looking to move our site from wordpress to drupal. (check out http://notanalternative.net for the world of pain we are currently dealing with)
after kicking around the can, and realizing we have more questions than answers. we're thinking of hosting a weekend long drupal hack session. imagine a weekend long drupalcamp "hackers" room. we provide the space, a projector, coffee and a few sample problems (aka views, media mover, calendar, flickr integration, theme migration, etc)... you provide your own drupal install and database...
for this to happen, we (the space) need to see a "show of hands" - we're thinking april 19/20 or 26/27... oh, and we need a drupal mast'a!
btw, if you're looking for day productivity space we're willing to barter a discount for some drupal work.
i hope we can make this happen!
