Follow, NoIndex for Specific Pages
Hi,
I am developing a new site and was curious, if there is a way for the automatized formatting of the page code to index/no-index.
Currently, Google crawls all pages from my site, but I have the taxonomy for the navigation finished, but I have no content there yet. It hurts my potential future ranking as Google Panda/Penguin will rank many pages as "pages with no content".
Is there a way to set taxonomy pages as "NoIndex, Follow"?
Regards,
Lukas
Read moreTaxonomy inheritance from Product to Product Display
Googled this a bit but unclear if a resolution has been identified yet...
Product has taxonomy (call it Brand).
Product Display uses Product Reference field to display Product details. Here the Taxonomy Term (Brand) is visible.
When viewing the Brand Term Taxonomy Page no content is identified as tagged by that term.
** Is it possible to for Product Displays to inherit terms from Products? **
I see the hierarchy as this:
--View, etc --
--- Prod Dis ---
---- Product Def ----
----- Taxonomy Term -----
Read moreIcons based on categories
Hi,
I've got some locations, and as per http://www.interworks.com/blogs/mmueggenborg/2012/01/03/setting-drupal-7..., I've set up a view to show my locations on an openlayers map. Now the user wants me to use different icons based on categories. I've found a module called openlayers_taxonomy, which requires that I pass taxonomy terms as arguments, and I don't see how that will help. Care to help me?

Read moreHelp With Domain Access and Nodestream
I pray this the right forum to post this inquiry...Hello, I am using Nodestream and domain access module. I have already created the sub-domains I needed. Now my question is how to 'push' (for lack of a better word) content to a particular sub-domain so it's (the article or advert is not visible to the other sub domains.)
The Domains created are as follows Nairobi, Nakuru and Test. Basically I want the articles meant for Nakuru to be either automatically routed using Taxonomy or manually using a sub-domain list/drop down.Need I say am a novice at this. Thank you
Using a Select all' option in Taxonomy
Hi
I have vocabularies set up with a list of terms but I want one of the options to be 'all'. So users can choose from the dropdown list, or just see everything.
Can someone tell me how I go about doing this please..
thanks
can you compare newly added term against existing terms?
I have a site where nodes are imported in bulk and I want to make sure that taxonomy terms that are imported match ones in the site. There may be spelling errors, etc. , in the files from which nodes are imported and I want to catch them. Is there a way to do this with rules?
Thanks

Read moreTaxonomy in a multilingual environment
The website I want to discuss has the following configuration (Drupal version 7.12):
domain.be/nl-BE/ => Belgian website, Dutch language
domain.be/fr-BE/ => Belgian website, French language
domain.fr => French website (always French)
domain.nl => Dutch website (always Dutch)
So, there are 4 languages (Belgian NL, Belgian FR, French FR, Dutch NL). The Belgian websites have a language prefix (nl-BE, fr-BE) and there are three different language domains (domain.be, domain.fr and domain.nl). All those settings are configured in Languages (admin/config/regional/language).

Read moreOP 7 Related Content view - won't display as a block in layout
Hi, we're using D7 OpenPublish. And trying out the OpenPublish related content view in order to display a list of related articles (by taxonomy), eg article on physics, a list of physics article links from our site on the right sidebar.
We have created a number of test articles and tagged them categorically, eg:
http://jkrivanedev.devcloud.acquia-sites.com/?q=content/learning-alphabe...
where you can see at the bottom of the article body that taxonomic links have appeared that lead to topical landing pages (or a site section). So the tagging is working fine it seems.
Read moreWhat is the functional benefit of hierarchical taxonomy?
I'm fairly new to Drupal and am trying to formulate an approach to using taxonomy on a site I'm working on. I don't think I fully understand the use of hierarchical taxonomy and am looking for some insight.
I understand that by using hierarchies the terms appear in a nested "outline" style list, which helps the user select terms for node content. But what is the overall benefit of this structure? Is it purely visual?
