Hi all,

I've activated drupal.mk as platform for Macedonian Community. You can register there and be active. The goal is to use this as community interactive site. Now we can build the community to another level and get everyone together. It will also be very helpful for everyone who is new and wants to learn Drupal, also learn from each other and share experience. We can create Events, Discussions, Q&A, Wikis, Polls etc...

So yeah, come join :)

It's that wonderful time of the year when Google Code-In students (ages 13-17) work on tasks for Drupal. Starting on Monday December 1st, hundreds of students from around the world will be contributing tasks to open source organizations competing to win an all expense paid trip to visit Google in California. Luckily Drupal was invited back by Google to participate in 2014 and timing could not be better with the beta releases of Drupal 8. Thanks Google!

Community summit

The aim of the discussion was to talk about how the different local groups are organized and what kind of problems do they find and document all of this so it can be used by potential group organizers.

The attendees of the discussion have different backgrounds, from their location having people from Spain, Czech Republic, Austria, Greece, Brazil, Germany, Scotland, Slovakia, Sweden, Holland, England and France, to their experience organizing groups, having people who has been involved in a group for years to people who wanted to start one.

In 2012, a group of Drupal community members worked together to draft a Code of Conduct that could be used to supplement the Drupal community’s Code of Conduct at DrupalCon and other in-person events.

We started Drupal Mumbai community initiatives back in Sep 2012 with five Drupalers attending the first meetup (http://www.meetup.com/Drupal-Mumbai-Meetup-Group/events/83914482/) , today we have 356 members who are part of this vibrant community. Over a period of time, we have conducted events, meetups, knowledge sessions, Trainings, Drupal Camps , Code Sprints to benefit this community. We now have a good national and international presence.
